Join us in welcoming our new intern: Brittany Hallak

We are happy to welcome the newest addition to the NASF team, Brittany Hallak. Brittany will be joining us this summer as the James Hubbard Intern for Policy and Communications.

Brittany is a recent graduate of Michigan State University, where she received a degree in political science and pre-law, and a minor in peace and justice studies. She is very committed to doing work that benefits the community and recognizes that conserving state and private forests are critical to every community across the country, even those in urban areas.

As part of her internship with NASF, Brittany will assist both the policy and communications team in continuing their work to provide the public and state foresters with up-to-date information and other resources vital to their work. Brittany hopes to learn more about how forestry legislation affects forest management and to further develop her communication abilities. Driven by her desire to serve, Brittany is most hopeful that her time with NASF will propel her into a successful career in public service.

You can contact Brittany directly by email at intern@stateforester.org.
