The Southern Group of State Foresters has announced the appointment of Wib Owen to the position of Executive Director for the regional association. Prior to his appointment, Owen completed a 34-year career with state government that included positions as Assistant Commissioner and State Forester with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the North Carolina Forest Service.
