NASF outgoing and incoming state foresters

NASF is saying goodbye to some great state foresters and hello to a newly appointed member. July saw the retirement of two respected and committed members of NASF. Colorado State Forester Jeff Jahnke, past NASF President announced he was retiring after 15 years. Tennessee State Forester Steven Scott, who served as Chair of the NASF Urban and Community Forestry Committee also announced his retirement after 10 years. You can find the job announcement for Tennessee State Forester on our website.

NASF would also like to welcome a new State Forester to the Association. Earlier this week, Michigan announced that Acting State Forester Bill O’Neill would be taking on the official role of State Forester. Congratulations Bill and we look forward to working with you!
