NRCS announces new National Forester

Dr. Eunice Padley has joined NRCS as the National Forester, Ecological Sciences Division. Padley comes from the U.S. Forest Service, where she has been the National Soils Program Leader since 2011. Supreme Court releases decision in forest roads case

This week the Supreme Court reversed the May 2011 ruling in NEDC v. Brown that would require a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for stormwater discharges from logging roads.
