NASF joins tide of input on Forest Service Planning Rule as comment period ends

This week marked the end of the 90-day comment period for the public to respond to the Obama administration's forest-planning rule, which guides how the U.S. Forest Service manages 193 million acres of forest and grasslands under the National Forest Management Act.  Following our Congressional testimony on the rule, NASF submitted formal comments, joining hundreds of other concerned groups and individuals with a stake in the agency's policies.
