Arbor Day Foundation seeks tree planting project proposals

Guest post by Brad Brandt

Since 1990, the Arbor Day Foundation has worked with tree planting organizations to identify and support reforestation projects throughout the United States.  Through our partnerships and with support from Arbor Day Foundation members, advocates, and corporate partners, we can provide funding for seedlings on large-scale restoration projects.  To date, we have worked together to fund and plant more than 100 million trees.

We are currently seeking proposals for 2020/2021 large-scale plantings that will positively impact the environment, create habitat for wildlife, promote watershed restoration, and other benefits to the public. We encourage you to share this call for proposals with anyone coordinating reforestation efforts.  Interested individuals are encouraged to fill out an online proposal for projects at: http://www.arborday.org/replantingrfp by end of day October 16th, 2020.

We are looking for proposals with strong content that the Arbor Day Foundation can share  with its members and donors. While the Arbor Day Foundation will consider all proposals, support of projects will be dependent on the availability of resources. We look forward to working with you to help replant trees in our nation’s forests and celebrating the many benefits that trees bring to the public.
