2014 Photo Fellow applications being accepted through May 30

Are you an aspiring conservation photographer? The NASF Foundation is accepting applications for our 2014 Photography Fellowship now through Friday, May 30. This year's fellowship theme is "Working Forests Work" and the selected photographer will travel to five states in two months to document state foresters working on the ground with landowners and wildlife; sustainably grown wood products; outdoor recreation such as hunting; and clean air and water that comes from forests.

Travel to the locations will take place approximately from June 23 to August 29, 2014. A $2,000 stipend will be provided and travel costs will be covered by the NASF Foundation.

The fellow's photographs will be unveiled at September's NASF Annual Meeting in St. Paul and will be used in various publications and outreach efforts, all crediting the photographer. Hurry, the deadline is Friday, May 30, 2014. Please direct questions to Amanda Cooke at acooke@stateforesters.org.
