NASF welcomes new director of forest policy

NASF is pleased to announce that Brent Keith has joined NASF as Director of Forest Policy.  Following the departure of NASF Senior Policy Director Jake Donnay in July, Brent stepped up to serve in an acting capacity.  Brent’s first official day as a NASF employee will be September 16.

Prior to joining NASF, Brent spent more than three years as the policy director for the Council of Western State Foresters. His experience includes work as a wildland fire fighter with the USDA Forest Service, seasonal forester with Plum Creek Timber Company and the Oregon Department of Forestry, and natural resources policy intern for Senator Larry Craig.  Brent earned a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Management from the University of Idaho and a law degree with a certificate in environmental law from Pace University.
