IYOF photography fellowship blog launches

Follow photojournalist Josh Birnbaum’s journey as the International Year of Forests photography fellow as he travels across the U.S. documenting the unique relationship between people and America’s forests. Josh recently covered American chestnut restoration efforts in West Virginia and will be headed to Texas, Missouri, South Dakota, Montana and Maryland later this summer. The 10-week fellowship is sponsored by the National Network of Forest Practitioners and the National Association of State Foresters, with support from the NASF Foundation.
