Forest Technician (Seasonal) – Clear Creek Forest District, Clarion County

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will engage in various technical forestry tasks and support activities that foster effective forest management and stewardship on both state forest lands and private forest areas. Your responsibilities will include aiding service foresters in gathering initial field data for stand analysis and contributing to the formulation of forest management strategies. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing stewardship enhancement practices, which may encompass tree planting, timber stand improvement, wildlife habitat management, and other related activities. Your efforts will be essential in promoting sustainable forestry practices and ensuring the health of forest ecosystems.
