Colorado – UCF Specialist

The Colorado State Forest Service is seeking an Urban and Community Forestry Specialist to deliver urban and community forestry programs and provide technical expertise and support to CSFS field offices and partners throughout Colorado’s Front Range communities. This geography includes the most populated urban centers in Colorado, from the Colorado-Wyoming border in the north through the Denver area to Pueblo, Colorado, in the south.

This position assists with community forestry projects (tree planting, inventory, canopy assessment, risk assessment, etc.), conducts trainings and workshops, maintains relationships with key partners, provides direction to arboriculture and urban forestry professionals, administers grants and contracts, and supports Arbor Day Foundation recognition programs such as Tree City USA, among other tasks.
