The National Association of State Foresters (NASF) sells educational materials and products as part of our mission to sustain healthy trees and forests across America. Our materials support the essential conservation education and fire prevention efforts of teachers, foresters, fire departments, and other agencies and organizations. Individuals looking for free materials are encouraged to contact their state forestry agency, as NASF is unable to provide giveaways to the public.
NASF believes that fire prevention and general forestry education is of critical importance to the protection of the nation’s forests. Through the Cooperative Forest Fire Prevention Committee (CFFP), NASF works with the USDA Forest Service and the Ad Council to support the message of Smokey Bear, the national symbol for fire safety. The association also incorporates fire prevention messages throughout the work of its standing Fire Committee and through its general communications and policy efforts.
