ISSUE OF CONCERN:
Retiring out-of-date resolutions

BACKGROUND:
The NASF Forest Resource Management Committee has reviewed all resolutions older than the year 2002 that fall under the jurisdiction of the Committee. The Committee has reviewed each of the following resolutions and found them to be out-of-date or no longer relevant and recommends they be retired.

  • Resolution 2002-9: Implementation of the Forestry Title in the 2002 Farm Bill
  • Resolution 2001-8: Forestry Title in the 2002 Farm Bill
  • Resolution 2000-11: Lack of a NIPF Landowner Cost-share Assistance Program
  • Resolution 1999-1: Silvicultural Contributions to State Nonpoint Source Water Quality Planning
  • Resolution 1999-12: EPA's Proposed TMDL Rule Change Regarding Regulation of Silviculture
  • Resolution 1993-1: Advocacy of Forested Riparian Zones
  • Resolution 1992-2: Protecting Rights on Private and other Non-Federal Lands and the Endangered Species Act
  • Resolution 1991-10: State Forest Resource Planning
  • Resolution 1990: Soil and Water Initiative
  • Resolution 1990: Federal Listing of Endangered Species
  • Resolution 1989-2: NASF Water Resources Committee Resolution
  • Resolution 1989-7: The 1990 Farm Bill
  • Resolution 1989-16: NASF Clean Water Policy
  • Resolution 1988: Efficient Achievement of Clean Water Goals in the Forestry Sector
  • Resolution 1988: Forested Wetlands Utilization

RESOLUTION:
The members of the National Association of State Foresters agree to retire the resolutions as identified above.
