NASF Resolution No. 2009-3: Retiring Outdated Fire Resolutions

ISSUE OF CONCERN: Retiring out-of-date resolutions
BACKGROUND:
The NASF Forest Fire Protection Committee has reviewed all resolutions from the year 2004 that fall under the jurisdiction of the Committee. The Committee has reviewed the following resolutions and found them to be out-of-date and recommends retirement. The Committee will consider updating both resolutions for presentation at the 2010 Annual Meeting.
• 2004 -1: Strategic Issues Panel on Fire Suppression Costs
• 2004 -2: International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC)
RESOLUTION:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that National Association of State Foresters agrees to retire the resolutions as identified above.
