Regional wildfire risk analysis reports completed
Executive summaries and full reports from the Southeast, Northeast and Western regional strategy committees have been released. The reports contain an overview of the wildfire situation in all the regions, science informed draft alternatives that will serve as the basis for developing the regional action plan, characterization and understanding of wildland fire risk and additional information and strategies to help address the wildland fire situations. This is part of the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy.
During this third and final phase of the cohesive strategy effort, regions will continue to build on this work and momentum with fellow stakeholders and partners to construct Regional Action Plans.
