Forestry workshops announced to assist Oregon rural landowners
A number of forestry workshops have been announced for the season by the Tillamook office of the OSU Extension Service. Homeowners can learn about heating their abode more efficiently, soil samples and the Internet, and coastal or urban residents can learn about dealing with the possibility of wildfire dangers.
Three workshops are planned:
- February 27 - Home Energy Heating Sources and Their Costs: How to Decide What's Best!
- March 21 - Web Soil Survey and Other Internet Tools for Ag and Forest Landowners.
- March 27 - Living with Wildfire along the Oregon Coast.
All classes will be held in Tillamook, OR and registration is suggested.
