Eleventh webinar in Planning for Growth and Open Space Conservation series announced
The Forest Service has announced the topic of its next webinar in the Planning for Growth and Open Space Conservation series - Session #11: An All Lands Approach to Ecosystem Services: Water Focus.
The emergence of ecosystem service markets as a tool for planning and conservation efforts is a growing trend. The Forest Service is supporting various programs and partnerships across public and private lands to conserve water resources, create markets, and test new protocols.
Scheduled speakers to include:
- Emily Weidner: USFS, Cooperative Forestry - Washington D.C.
- Claire Harper: USFS Cooperative Forestry – Rocky Mountain Region
- Bob Deal: Pacific Northwest Research Station
