The Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) is offering an opportunity for an experienced and talented individual to lead the Department's Forest Health and Forest Stewardship Programs. The successful candidate will have a diverse and strong forest health and forest management background, a service-oriented work style and a superior ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of the organization and the forest landowners we assist. This person must also possess strong character, leadership and interpersonal skills.

The Forest Program Specialist provides support in general forestry and fire management functions in the following division programs: forest stewardship, health and legacy, utilization, urban/community forestry, invasive plants, state fire/volunteer assistance, firewise, and fuel hazard mitigation. Providing natural resource technical assistance to landowners, businesses, communities and local governments. Monitoring grant processes providing reports as required.

The NJ State Forestry Services is currently looking to fill the vacant Chief, Bureau of Forest Management position. The Bureau Chief will report directly to the State Forester, providing leadership to the NJ Forest Service concerning the planning, coordination and implementation of programs vital to the health of New Jersey's forests. The Arizona State Forestry Division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to serve as the Deputy State Forester. Under general direction of the State Forester, the Deputy Forester is responsible for leading cooperative forest management programs. Acts in the absence of the State Forester. Supervises and manages natural resource professional staff, grant program staff, as well as GIS and IT functions. Develops strategic plans and coordinates programs of work for cooperative forestry and fire programs.
