The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is filling the forestry planner vacancy. This position plays a key role in establishing the strategic direction of the Division of Forestry and ensuring that work plans and program performance align with this direction. The planner provides expertise for statewide planning involving forest ecosystems, forested properties and the DNR Forestry program. This position has primary responsibility for ensuring consistent application of the principles of sustainable forestry in planning, the principles of continuous quality improvement in program management, and resulting policy development. The planner also provides leadership for the planning and evaluation process, and collaborates with senior leadership and stakeholder groups.
