Utah Urban Forestry Internship Opportunity

The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands has a new urban forestry internship opportunity available this spring/summer.  Seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to assist the State Urban & Community Forestry Program Coordinator with outreach, technical services, education and program development. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of landscape tree identification, knowledge of basic tree care, good personal communication skills and computer experience.  This position requires travel throughout the state using agency provided vehicles so the successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Some evening and weekend hours may be required as part of this assignment.
