South Dakota seeks Staff Forester

This position will be responsible for the coordination and development of the division's forestry and conservation planning efforts which includes the State Forest Action Plan and the Coordinated Plan for Natural Resources; monitoring the Federal Register and keeping the department and the division informed about pertinent changes in federal laws and regulations that may impact forestry and conservation programs; reviewing federal management plans and environmental impact statements and develop comments regarding those documents; maintaining all the division's accomplishment reporting databases and keeping them current; and developing special grant applications under the direction of the Division Director.
