U.S. pledges $275M for tropical forests in 2010
Posted on Friday, November 20, 2009This week the U.S. committed $275 million to rain forest protection in the Amazon, Congo Basins, South America and Africa. The funds will be awarded from a $1.2 billion assistance allocation for international programs in the 2010 U.S. budget.
