Study measures value of state forests' intangible benefits

A $70,000 peer-reviewed study by researchers from the Univeristy of Maryland aims to better inform the MD Department of Natural Resources in its decisions about logging and other uses of forested state land by finding a dollar value of many forest benefits including recreation and carbon sequestration.
