Restore Forestry Funds
Posted on Thursday, April 24, 2008From The Hartford Courant: Drastic budget cuts proposed by the Bush administration threaten to weaken a successful, nearly century-long partnership between federal and state governments in forest conservation. Forest lands have always been important. Today, with the threats posed by global warming and habitat loss, they're more precious than ever. Congress must restore this funding.
