New Pinchot report on biomass supply, sustainability, and policy

John Heinz III Center for Science, Economics and the Environment concludes that with planning and foresight, the U.S. can meet both important policy goals of expanding the use of renewable energy and ensuring the sustainable use of the nation’s sustainable forest resources. "Forest Sustainability in the Development of Wood Bioenergy in the U.S.," summarizes the results of a two-year study of the challenges and opportunities for sustainable wood bioenergy.
