Roundtable on Sustainable Forests meeting: Stakeholder Action Strategy for the future

The Roundtable on Sustainable Forests (RSF) is pleased to invite you to register for the National RSF Meeting: Stakeholder Action Strategy for the future, in the Washington, DC area on October 14 and 15, 2009. The primary purpose of the meeting is to discuss, shape, and make plans for implementing a stakeholder Sustainable Forests Action Strategy (word doc), the first draft of which was developed in July 2009 by a diverse group of RSF participants as a companion document to the draft 2010 National Report on Sustainable Forests. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss and suggest ways to best accomplish Fiscal Year 2010 RSF activities including work on the Regional Indicator Initiative and RSF engagement in preparation for the International Year of Forests in 2011.
