National interagency wildfire prevention academy this fall

The Wildland Fire Training & Conference Center in Sacramento, CA, is hosting a National Interagency Prevention Academy November 29 - December 10, 2010. This course provides consistent, in-depth, hands-on training, technical fire prevention program direction, and skills for prevention/mitigation field staff and managers. Participants gain a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of wildland fire prevention, as well as many printed guides and tools to start or build a prevention program.
