Newly formed National Alliance of Forest Owners
A nationwide group of private forestland owners announced the formation of the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO) and the appointment of David P. Tenny as its president and chief executive officer.

Tenny will assume the leadership of NAFO later this month, and the group plans an announcement reception in Washington, D.C. in June. NAFO’s 14 member companies represent over 28 million acres of U.S. forestland.
Tenny joins NAFO from the American Forest & Paper Association, where he was vice president of forestry and wood products. Prior to that, Tenny served as deputy undersecretary for natural resources at the United States Department of Agriculture and on staff of the Committee on Agriculture in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he served as counsel and policy advisor on natural resources and related issues.
