NASF and partners kick off the U.S. Celebration of the Year of Forests

NASF, the American Forest Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service hosted more than 300 friends of forestry at a reception launching the U.S. celebration of the International Year of Forests. "We wanted to celebrate the full range of values forests contribute to our society with the full range of partners who protect and maintain them," said Kentucky State Forester Leah MacSwords. State Foresters Steve Koehn (MD), Carl Garrison (VA), Monica Lear (DC) and Lynn Fleming (NJ) also attended.
