Insurers tell OR landowners to prevent fires
Posted on Friday, August 21, 2009Insurance companies have begun telling some policyholders in Eastern Oregon to protect their buildings against wildfires. An Oregon Dept. of Forestry official reports that some insurers are sending inspectors out to look at defensible space and at times requiring customers to make changes to their properties.
