The U.S. Forest Service is offering a Forest Tax Primer seminar June 12 in Washington, DC. The one-hour program will discuss new tax incentives enacted by the 2008 Farm Bill encouraging land conservation and wood biomss energy production, timber income and expenses, carbon payment and proposed IRS regulation.
